Job description

About Morpho

Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that recently secured $50 million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over $10 billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone, not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.

Our Mission

Morpho’s mission is to power human ambition with open access to capital. Human ambition has no borders, but the capital to fuel it does. Today’s financial system is closed and fragmented. No one sees all opportunities, most overpay, and some are excluded entirely. We believe capital should flow efficiently to where it’s needed most — giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms.

Location

Paris or remote (from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).

How we work

We move fast on hard problems in a nascent market with no set playbook : navigating uncertainty is part of the job. You’ll be challenged: anyone can question work and decisions must be justified. We keep a high bar and match it with high support: we help each other unblock and share context openly, with low ego. More about our values: morpho.org/jobs.

Role

The mission of this role is to improve Morpho's employee experience by owning onboarding, people programs, and operational quality, ensuring every team member feels supported, informed, and set up for success in a fast-moving, crypto company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run end-to-end onboarding cycles using Notion and automation tools to deliver a consistent, high-quality welcome experience for every new joiner across timezones

  • Coordinate off-site planning and internal events with Marketing and the Office Manager to create memorable moments that strengthen team culture and connection

  • Monitor employee experience through pulse surveys and feedback loops and turn insights into action plans to continuously improve how people feel at Morpho

  • Build and maintain People Ops playbooks and documentation in Notion to ensure clarity, self-service, and scalability as the team grows

  • Support internal communication and team rhythms across functions to keep contributors aligned, informed, and engaged day-to-day

  • Drive ad-hoc People projects (policy updates, culture experiments, process improvements, etc…) leveraging AI and automation to deliver impact without adding operational overhead

  • Contribute to performance, leveling, and career progression processes to ensure fairness and transparency as the company scales

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days

You'll have shadowed onboarding cycles, understood current People Ops tools and workflows, started building relationships across teams, and identified your first set of quick wins to improve the employee experience.

By Month 4–6

You'll be delivering consistent, high-quality onboarding with measurable improvements in new-joiner feedback. You'll have coordinated an internal event or off-site, created or updated the People Ops playbooks, and contributed with strong ownership to one or two strategic People projects.

By Month 12

You'll be the reference point for all People Ops processes, ensuring quality and continuous improvement. You'll have designed a scalable onboarding framework to support our growth, built repeatable data-informed rituals used by leadership for decision-making, and driven high-impact cross-functional initiatives that measurably improve employee experience.

Must-Have Experience

  • 5–7 years in scale-up, already experienced in international remote environments

  • Comfortable using automation, tooling, and AI to simplify workflows and improve operational quality
